Katherine Hu is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, director, and writer, and a judge for the News & Documentary Emmy Awards. During her career in the United States, she has produced a series of investigative documentaries that systematically expose the Chinese Communist Party’s threat to U.S. national security—work that draws upon her expertise in news analysis, television production, and a deep understanding of the CCP regime. These documentaries have set viewership records for their genre in the United States and have been referenced at senior levels of the U.S. policymaking community.
Her representative works include:
“Tracking Down the Origin of the Wuhan Coronavirus” – the world’s first investigative documentary on the origins of COVID-19. It was also the first to identify the Wuhan lab as the likely source of the outbreak and to expose the CCP’s deception and cover-up efforts.
“2020 Election Investigation” – the first documentary to probe the CCP’s infiltration of the 2020 U.S. election. In recognition of its impact, the Content2020 Film Festival created a new award category—Best Documentary in News—to honor this film.
“The Final War” – the first documentary to reveal the CCP’s century-long strategy to defeat the United States.
